Introduction

It is often overwhelming to face the daunting task of changing a world that is so seemingly destroyed by evil. Given the destructive teachings that are being promoted to our children and young people all over the world, let alone our own country, the thought often rages in our minds “What can I really do to combat such a powerful movement to destroy our children?” How do we instill in children that they are heirs to the throne!

Insight

It is at this point that we must remind ourselves of the power of the throne of God! We must also remember that we ARE SEATED at the right hand of the Father at that throne IN CHRIST JESUS. It doesn’t say “will be seated”. This is a position we have right now but we often forget to use the power of such an inherited position in Christ Jesus. This applies to our children, also.

Because Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, and we are IN CHRIST JESUS, we already possess the life and godliness power for changing our world. So how do we appropriate this great power?
First, we must claim it as our right on a daily basis. Secondly, we must pray in the throne room with the authority given to us. Thirdly, we must act in the boldness that this authority gives us against the great evil in our world. NO FEAR is a sales gimmick but it must be our life message. This is the inheritance of those who are in Christ Jesus. But just like a Christmas present under the tree with our name on it, it does us no good unless we unwrap it and put it on.

We, and our children, are coheirs with Jesus. We are adopted into this family by God. We are part of the lineage of Abraham, an heir according to the promise. Galatians is full of the truth of our lineage. Through the promise of Abraham and through faith in Jesus, we are adopted into the kingdom and are entitled to the eternal inheritance promised to God’s children. We are no longer slaves but sons and daughters of the One True King! The children of this nation need to learn this truth. When they learn and accept this, there are blessings, the inheritance of eternal life, freedom from the law, and power!

TURNAROUND QUESTIONS

The law reveals that we cannot escape our sinfulness. Christ brought us out of that sin with His life. Have you accepted Jesus and decided to follow Him?
Do you walk in the power granted to you by God through His spirit that lives within you?
What can you do to make sure the children of this generation learn the significance of being an heir to the throne of God?

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we thank you that in Your son Jesus Christ we have everything that we need to live in and push forward Life and Godliness in our world. Lord, thank you for making us heirs to Your throne. We need Your encouragement today in our hearts to apply the gifts You have already given to us. Today we commit to walk forward in doing what You have laid on our hearts to do. We commit to do this in the boldness of Throne Room inherited authority in Christ Jesus. Your kingdom come Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven through me today! In Jesus’s name, AMEN!
