Welcome to the Turnaround!
Introduction
God, the Creator of the whole world, has specifically formed and designed each person uniquely and personally. Through this verse was spoken to the Jewish people in Isaiah’s time, it is still a reflection of God’s heart of love for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and have become God’s children.
We are His and He loves us.
Insight
We have a problem. We all have wronged a holy God, doing what He has told us not to do. We have sinned. The punishment for our sin is separaion from God forever. This is a punishment too great for us to pay. We need a Redeemer, one who can pay the debt we owe and set us free.
Jesus came to redeem us, once and for all, when He lived the perfect life that we could not live and died, though He did nothing wrong, in our place. He rose from the dead three days later, proving beyond a shadow of death that He is God.
Now, He invites us to believe in Him as the salvation of our sin. When we choose to reject any other means of eternal salvation and trust in Him alone, He makes us His children. We become part of His family. John 1:12 says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
Receiving Him as our Eternal Life is the greatest privilege of our life.
We are His.
Belonging to Him give us worth and value; we have been chosen by Him. Our Father calls us by name. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, our hurts and dreams. He knows us intimately and loves us unconditionally. Belonging to Him give us security. Just as God says in Isaiah 43:1; we do not need to fear.
We long for children in the United States to know what Jesus has done to redeem them and free them from the punishment and the power of their sin. We desire that they would experience what it’s like to truly belong to Jesus, to have their security and significance found in Him alone.

Prayer
Dear Father, thank You for creating us. Thank You for reedeeming Your people, those who choose to place their faith in You for salvation. We ask that You would move in the hearts of children around this nation so they truly know what Jesus has done to save them from their sins. I pray they would choose to be Your children, trusting that You are their loving Father. I pray their trust in You would chase away all fear. May they know they are Yours, and find their security in knowing You care for them. In Jesus name, Amen.
