Welcome to the Turnaround’s 52 Days of Prayer!
Introduction
Our heritage as sons and daughters of The Most High God, is that He Himself would turn the
reproach of His enemies on themselves. The devices used to attack the children of God are
promised in scripture to be reversed if we meet certain conditions.
Insight
The three major conditions are forgiving, blessing, and releasing our enemies. This gives our
Creator access to act on our behalf. If we take matters into our own hands, then our strength is all we will have. When we safely trust in God, He is with us during the enemy’s attacks.
Friends, let Psalm 91 be our inspiration today, our declaration. We need to come before God today, declaring His Word and standing in the truth of His promises.
We dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The Lord, is our refuge and fortress, our God, in whom we trust. He delivers us from every trap of the enemy. Under His wings, we find refuge. His truth is our shield and body armor. We will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day. We shall not fear the pestilence that walks in darkness nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at our side and ten thousand at our right hand, but it shall not come near us. We shall witness with our eyes the reward of the wicked. Because we have made the Lord our refuge, no evil will overcome us, and no plague will come near our homes. He has given His angels charge over us, to guard us in all our ways. They will lift us up in their hands, so that we will not dash our foot against a stone. Because we love God and know His name, He will deliver us, set us on high, answer us when we call, be with us in trouble, and honor us. With long life, He will satisfy us and show us His salvation.
We must declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises
against us in judgment we condemn. This is our heritage as His servants, and our righteousness is from Him. We must forgive those who have wronged us, spoken against us, or
sought to harm us, and in His name, we bless them. We submit ourselves to Him today in
obedience, acknowledging that He is our God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—our Savior.
In the authority of Jesus’ name, we resist the devil and all his schemes. We claim the victory of the cross, declaring that through the sacrifice of Jesus, we have passed out from under any curse and entered into God’s blessings.
Turnaround Questions-
Will you humble yourself, forgive, bless, and release those who have hurt you, that God may heal our land?
Prayer
Lord, let the reproach of Your people be turned upon the enemies of God. Let Your light shine,
Your truth prevail, and Your people rise in strength. We declare that You alone are God, and
beside You, there is no other. We exalt You, we trust in You, and we stand firm in Your Word. In
the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
